Environmental Auditing and Quality
Aury is a certified environmental auditor and has provided environmental auditing and environmental-management consulting across manufacturing, petroleum equipment, construction, municipal and service-sector organizations.
He also works in laboratory quality management at Enviropass, connecting regulatory assessment with the quality systems supporting analytical testing. His VEA® credential dates from 2013.
This background supports a risk-based approach to product compliance: supplier declarations and laboratory results are treated as evidence that must be evaluated for applicability, scope, quality and regulatory relevance rather than simply collected.
Standards and Technical Committees
Aury participates in Canada’s Standards Council of Canada Mirror Committee for IEC/TC 111, the IEC technical committee addressing environmental standardization for electrical and electronic products and systems. Enviropass announced his participation in the committee in 2025.
Participation in standards work helps Enviropass follow developments affecting areas such as substance information, material declarations, environmentally conscious design and other product environmental requirements.
Teaching, Training and Speaking
Aury teaches Environmental Auditing at the Université de Sherbrooke and provides professional training on environmental compliance requirements.
He has also delivered training or presentations for organizations including Chemical Watch and IEEE, and has participated as a speaker at international electronics and product-compliance events.
Training topics include product environmental compliance, REACH, RoHS, restricted substances, supplier compliance, environmental auditing and other regulatory requirements affecting manufacturers.
